Masawat Benazir Khawajasara Program 2024
Ehsaas Masawat or Ehsaas Equality program was initiated with the aim to provide financial assistance to the intersex community of our country. Under this program, Rs. 7,000/- is provided to the eligible intersex community after every three months.

The Khawajasara community in Pakistan, just like in other countries, face many problems in their personal lives, with society, culture, and money. These issues often make them feel left out and alone, which makes them the most disadvantaged.
Ehsaas Masawat Program 2024
To address the poverty and vulnerability face by our intersex community, the Punjab Social Protection Authority has started working under the transgender welfare policy programs for the rights and safety of our Khawajasara community.
Under this initiative, employment opportunities and unconditional cash transfers are given to the needy and disabled Khawaja Sara of Pakistan.
Registration in Ehsaas Masawat Program
The registration process for the Ehsaas Masawat program is quite easy. The deserving candidates must visit the NADRA office and get their ID card made so that they can be registered for the program. After getting their transexual CNIC, they can visit the nearest Ehsaas or BISP center for their registration process. Those Khawaja Sara who are elderly would get a monthly stipend of Rs. 3,000/- and the rest would get Rs. 2,000/-
Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) is working together with PSPA to help transgender people (TGPs). They will give TGPs loans up to Rs 100,000/- without any interest. Health departments and private businesses will also help by organizing free medical check-ups, treatments, and medical camps for TGPs.
The private sector is also planning to create job opportunities for TGPs in collaboration with PSPA and other businesses.
Objectives of the Ehsaas Masawat Program
Transgender individuals in Pakistan face many challenges and difficulties. They often experience discrimination and bullying from society, which can make them feel unsafe and isolated. Access to basic healthcare, education, and employment opportunities can be limited for transgender people, making it hard for them to lead a fulfilling and equal life.
To eradicate these challenges that the Khawaja Sara community face in Pakistan and to provide them with healthcare, education, and other financial assistance, the government has started this initiative.
The objective is to help this community so that they can live a peaceful and safe life and to make their lifestyle better. Many steps have been taken to promote employment opportunities for the intersex community. Not only this, the program also runs campaigns so that awareness can be made for the rights and welfare of the Khawajasara community so they can get equal rights.

Masawat Program Benazir Khawajasara program was launched under the Ehsaas and BISP umbrella to help our Khawajasara community in terms of education, healthcare and employment. Under this program, a monthly stipend of Rs 2,000/- is given to deserving Khawajasara who are under 40 years of age and Rs. 3,000/- is given to those who are above 40.
